PROBLEMS FOR CREATION OF THE INFORMATION SYSTEM OF MANAGEMENT BY STOCK COMPANY AT THE WHOLESAL TRADE ENTERPRISE

Abstract
Purpose. The aim of the article is to study of the factors influencing the choice of the contractor to carry out work on the development and implementation of WMS-warehouse management systems and the development of practical recommendations for management services of wholesale trade enterprises on this basis. Methodology of research. The accepted methods of economic research are used when writing the article: economic and statistical – in studying the dynamics and influence of economic factors on the state of trade activity; monographic – when substantiating the theoretical positions of the subject of research; sociological research methods, in particular, questionnaires – when determining the list and significance of the influence of factors on decision making when choosing a contractor for the establishment of a WMS-warehouse management system of a wholesale trade enterprise. Findings. The system of recommendations for implementation of WMS-warehouse management system of the wholesale trade enterprise is proposed. The requirements, which the WMS-system is to implement, must be complied with for successful implementation of the task of displaying the movement of various categories of goods in the context of the nomenclature-assortment groups, and interaction with different suppliers and consumers are described. The composition and main components of the cost of implementing the WMS-system at the trade enterprise are considered in detail. Criteria of influence on decision making of wholesale trade enterprise management are selected in the choice of WMS-system of warehouse management and firm-contractor for its installation and maintenance in the process of exploitation. The algorithm of implementation of WMS-system at the enterprise is offered. The restrictions on the use of automated control systems in the process of forming orders for goods due to the feature of the goods in stock are indicated. It has been established that certain groups of goods require manual intervention of the management system, the so-called “double control”. It is emphasized on the need to ensure reliable control and management by qualified personnel for the operation of WMS-systems to optimize the management of the system of sales and inventory balances of the warehouse economy of the wholesale trade enterprise. Originality. The algorithm for implementation of the WMS-system of the wholesale trade enterprise is formed in order to optimize the product balances and increase the efficiency of its activities. Practical value. The obtained results of the research serve as the basis for solving the problems of rational choice of WMS-systems of warehouse management of a wholesale trade enterprise.
