PROFESSIONAL DIRECTION IN PHYSICS LEARNING AS A PEDAGOGICAL STRATEGY FOR PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCE OF FUTURE AGRARIAN ENGINEERS

Abstract

Introduction. The article is concerned with the improvement of teaching methods in physics with the help of professional orientation principle in physics course for students of agrarian and technical universities. Purpose: The aim of the article is to explore the scientific issue of the implementation of the fundamental and professionally oriented principles in teaching physics course for students of agrarian and technical universities. Methods. The theoretical analysis of philosophical, psychological and educational literature on this subject to select and interpret the factual material; analysis of concepts, theories and techniques of identifying strategies for implementation of the fundamental and professionally oriented principles in teaching physics course for students of agrarian and technical universities were conducted. Results. Professional competence formation as the dominant condition of improving the attainment level of future agrarian and technical specialists is identified. Discussion. The role of the cycle of professionally oriented disciplines in formation of future specialists’ professional competence is outlined.
