Abstract

Introduction. To date, each company knows what kind of payables is. There are situations when funds do not return for a long time, there are unwanted costs. The article deals with the situation when companies provide a guarantee to buyers for their goods, while creating a reserve for performance of warranty obligations. Also, in what questions do not use the reserve, what it can lead, what normative documents regulates this situation. We are trying to understand how to install warranty and how often. Most enterprises can produce several types of products, while it can supply it both within our state and abroad.. Purpose. The purpose of the paper is to consider the concept of a reserve for performance of warranty obligations, to establish optimal security, as well as to determine how it is reflected in the accounting, as well as the answers to the questions: how to cover the cost of payment for services in the production process? Results. The main questions: who should create and set up a backup warranty and is it wallpaper? The answer is, first of all, the rejection of the fact that the company, which guarantees some kind of commitment, does not correspond. Will the enterprise spend future warranty repairs, warranty service or warranty replacement in the future, in accordance with RSA № 11? An open company that creates a reserve for the performance of a guarantee. If security is not created, then this is an accounting policy mistake. This situation applies to any sphere of activity. Conclusion. Formation of the reserve for performance of warranty obligations is one of the methods of managing the expenses of the enterprise, which allows to reduce the risk of operations, improve the stability of the enterprise, protect the interests of consumers and suppliers. Formation of the reserve is indicated in the accounting policy. The study of the creation of guarantee provision made it possible to understand that it is desirable for the enterprise to create a reserve for the sake of safety and for the preservation of a significant part of the profit. It is necessary to form it on the balance sheet date, thus the amount of guarantee obligations is better set as a percentage of income.
