Abstract

Nowadays, creative industries are one of the most dynamically developing branch in the global economy. The purpose of this publication is an attempt to characterize creative industries and to demonstrate their connections with the culture and the economy. In the article was performed considerations on the merits of state intervention and the prospects for the development of creative sector in Poland.
