Abstract
Psychological and pedagogical aspects of formation of preparedness for professional activity of future specialists in labor protection and civil security are considered, the main approaches of readiness for professional activity of the future specialist (psychological and functional) are considered. The analysis of psychological and pedagogical literature devoted to the investigated phenomenon is carried out. The categorical apparatus of the notions of readiness for professional activity is characterized.
