PSYCHOLOGISATION AS THE POSITIVE POWER OF NEGATIVE THINKING OF POST-ENLIGHTENMENT SOCIAL SPACE

Abstract

Introduction. It has been stated that among features characterizing the period between the 20th and 21th centuries it is advisable to distinguish dynamism and irregularity of processes that occur in a social space and determine a new character of interactions and activity. It has been assured that an individual’s aspiration to prevail in the society, to realize his/her own maximum potential and possibilities and to live and work in comfort environment becomes much clearer has been generated by the phenomenon of psychologisation that means the tendency to widen the space of psychological knowledge effects. Purpose. It has been conducted the analysis of psychologisation as the process of psychological views and practice penetrating in everyday life of a modern type of a man and it has been emphasized the problematic issues of the mentioned process characterizing psychologisation as an negative phenomenon while maintaining the overall positivity. Results. It has been stated that from the middle of the 20th century the emptiness as a result of God’s death ideologists chaotically began to fill with a new content discordant with quality and value. One of the first to become eligible to fill the emptiness was psychology, but an individual turned into an object of mental effort. Psychology at that point of human evolution became to do good public relations for self-help regulated by a skilled professional. Originality. It is noted that the scale of penetration of psychology indirectly demonstrated the fact of social disintegration, in this regard instead of mental health the social environment obtained the number of mental illnesses and unable-sensitive individuals. Also it can be stressed that from late 60’s and till the end of the 20th century psychologisation indirectly was determining the expansion of indifference that in general objects psychiatric experience. Conclusion. It has been deposed that psychologisation of a social space is characterized by two approaches. The first approach presents psychologisation from a good angle and, taking into consideration a number of issues, accepts through its deploying in an economic and educational space the production of impressive results which guarantee human progress. According to the second more critical approach, psychologisation of a social space in any case causes and determines social changes which essence is crisis and the threat of social devitalisation.
