Public television and radio broadcasting as one of the types of information resources and Mass Media

Abstract
Legislation on public television and radio broadcasting consists of the Constitution of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan “On Public Broadcasting”, the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan “On Information, Informatization and Protection of Information” and other normative legal acts. The article is devoted to public television and radio broadcasting as one of the types of mass media. Public television and radio broadcasting of the Republic of Azerbaijan is compared with the practice of foreign countries. The article also examines the importance of public television and radio broadcasting for today. In addition, the legal basis for public television and radio broadcasting is explained.
