Reading and Experimental Analysis of Electricity Meter on Energy Lines

Abstract
Data communication is one of the most important parts in smart system. Precise operation of the smart system is firstly depending on reliability of the transferred information. Today information is transferred over wire or wireless systems. Power line communication is a data communication system that transfers information over grid lines without using any extra wire. In this study an energy measurement method over power lines has been investigated. In developed system, information obtained from energy meter has been monitored remotely with help of power lines. Differential Code Shift Keying method has been used for modulating and transferring data. In order to test reliability of the developed measurement system several tests at different conditions have been performed and results have been presented.
