Regarding the purpose of the state financial control conducting by the State Audit Service of Ukraine.

Abstract
The article discusses the concept and essence of the basic forms of state financial control. Revealed fundamental differences between the procedures of the state financial audit and inspection, in particular, regarding to the purpose of their conducting. Also, revealed organizational defects in the functioning of the State Audit Office of Ukraine. Were proposed changes to the current legislation directed towards the clarification of certain functions of the State Audit Service of Ukraine, depending on the purpose and tasks of conducting separate forms of state financial control. In addition, were proposed new approach in construction of the structure of the apparatus of the State Audit Service of Ukraine for improving the efficiency of the state financial control.
