REPAIR AND RECONSTRUCTION OF FACADES OF HISTORICAL BUILDINGS OF KHARKOV CITY

Abstract
The article is devoted to the issue of repair and restoration of facades of historical buildings on the example of the city of Kharkov. The analysis of the latest researches and publications devoted to this issue is carried out. The methods of preserving and restoring the appearance of historic buildings are described. The issue of preserving the historical and architectural specifics of cities at the present time is considered. The factors causing destruction of facade elements of hysterical buildings and methods of fighting them were studied. Finishing materials used for repair and restoration works of brick facades and facades with lined plaster solutions are described. The sequence of restoration of lost architectural details is given. The organizational and technological solutions used in the repair and restoration of facades of historic buildings are given. The conducted research contributes to the development of new organizational and technological solutions for the repair and restoration of facades of historic buildings.
