The patients’ facial appearance as well as occlusal relationships was also evaluated for the same periods using a four-grade scale. Results: The doctor’s and the patient’s evaluation was statistically significantlyhigheraftercombinedsurgery as far as the facial aesthetics and occlusal relationship are concerned as compared with the preoperative condition. Conclusion: For the patient, the most important treatment result is the improvement of facial aesthetics. The occlusal relationship, especially in the posterior region, is not very essential. Doctor’s professional assessment of patient’s facial aesthetics and occlusion is the basis for accomplishing satisfactory outcome of treatment.
