RETROSPECTIVE ANALYSIS OF THE PROBLEM OF AESTHETIC EDUCATION: HISTORY AND MODERNITY

Abstract
The preconditions for formation of a modern system of the younger generation aesthetic education are considered and characterized in the article. The content of the basic regulatory documents concerning realization of the pupils’ aesthetic education is revealed. The author determined that a special role in aesthetic development belongs to elementary school, and this school is designed to form the pupil’s holistic conception and sensation of the world, to ensure development of aesthetic ideals and tastes, a sense of responsibility for preserving cultural achievements of society
