Robert Southey in creative experiments of V. Zhukovsky in the 1810s

Abstract
The article analyzes specific features of V. Zhukovsky’s reception of the poetry by R. Southey in the 1810s. The interest raised by the genre experiments of the Russian poet contributed to the development of the romantic ballad genre in Russian poetry, opened the new view of life, the new world of ideas and feelings.
