Simple and Multi-collision of an Ellipsoid with Planar Surfaces. Part I: Theory
Journal Title: Analele Universitatii "Eftimie Murgu" Resita. Fascicula de Inginerie - Year 2017, Vol 24, Issue 1
Abstract
This paper discusses the problem of simultaneous collisions between an ellipsoid and some planar surfaces. The approach is one based on the theory of screws and uses the notion of inertance. The authors consider that the coefficients of restitution are different for each planar surface and they obtain the velocities after the collision. An example concludes the theory.

On-line Identification of the DC motor Parameters by using Least Mean Square Recursive Method
The on-line least square parameters (electrical and mechanical) identification method of the separately DC motor is presented in this paper. The parameters of the DC machine are time dependent; therefore, for the DC driv...
Experimental Measurements of Dynamical Wind Load acting on the Overhead Transmission Line
The detailed aim of the study is to determine the distribution of flow velocity, turbulence, the frequency of detaching vortices. These parameters are measured for conductor installed in the wind tunnel and it models the...
Applying Simulation to Optimize Production Flows
In this paper an optimization is carried out through simulation of the production flows of two production systems of lower rank. A methodology of simulation-optimization is developed, starting from the general methodolog...
Sensitivity-Based Modeling of Evaluating Surface Runoff and Sediment Load using Digital and Analog Mechanisms
Analyses of runoff- sediment measurement and evaluation using automated and convectional runoff-meters was carried out at Meteorological and Hydrological Station of Auchi Polytechnic, Auchi using two runoff plots (ABCDa...
Stochastic Analysis of Land Degradation on Edo State Agricultural System
Edo state, like many other states in Niger-Delta and Nigeria as a nation has resultant land and water degradation problems such as persistent oil spillage, erosion of arable land, sedimentation of dam and reservoirs. Thi...
