Social functions of enterprises and organizations of consumer cooperation

Abstract

Purpose. The purpose of the article is to identify the totality of social functions in implementing its activities enterprises and organizations of consumer cooperatives and their characteristics. Methodology of research. The solution of these problems in an article carried by such scientific and special research methods: analysis and synthesis, generalization and systematization, the dialectical approach. Findings. Determined set of social functions in implementing its activities enterprises and organizations of consumer cooperatives. 3 groups revealed the social functions of the consumer cooperation, in the form proposed to determine possible and implemented actions to address social needs, namely: social and labor functions; function of social protection and social management and social and communicative functions. Practical value. The article substantiates that the implementation of the social functions of enterprises and organizations of consumer cooperation will promote their development and ensure the implementation of the activities of the system of consumer cooperatives is not only a special “social” way of business, but also the implementation of a new paradigm of thinking, combining efficient market mechanisms with social protection the negative effects of the modern economy.
