Socio–economic Development of Regions in the Conditions of Formation of the Information Market

Abstract
Transformation processes in the economy of Ukraine, changes in economic conditions and thinking, and the institutional environment have caused the necessity of forming a new approach to solving important life problems and problems of sustainable socio–economic development of the regions. The nature of the interaction of individuals and organizations varies significantly, the value orientations of people, their attitude to business, the system of management, motives and decision–making methods are transformed. Understanding of information systems and technologies as an effective means of increasing production and labor efficiency determines the world development of information services, computer manufacturing and computerization as the leading technologies of automated information processing, tangible progress in the field of telecommunications, providing enormous opportunities for transporting information and interconnection its consumers. These processes determine the constant growth of the proportion of the information sector of the economy, which directly affects the ordinary life of society in the process of interaction of individuals, organizations and public institutions. The content and essence of informatization of the economy and its influence on the sustainable development of regions are determined in the work. The results of the study of the essence and main characteristics of the IP, its impact on the social and economic development of the region, the peculiarities of the functioning of enterprises at the stage of intensive development of the information environment provides an opportunity to justify the directions of ensuring a high level of management of enterprises, taking into account the need to transform the main approaches to management in the conditions of information.
