SOCIO-PSYCHOLOGICAL FACTORS OF CHILD NEGLECTEDNESS AND HOMELESSNESS IN UKRAINE

Abstract
This article is devoted to the study of issues of factors of child neglectedness and homelessness in Ukraine. It is proved that multidimensionality and complexity of problems of child homelessness, neglectedness and social orphanage determines a lot of approaches to determination of determinants of occurrence and spread of these negative phenomena in children’s environment. In connection with this, the need for a holistic and comprehensive understanding of the nature of their occurrence is actualized. For effective work to overcome, or at least reduce the number of homeless and neglected children, it is necessary to comprehensively investigate the causes of this phenomenon, from the involvement of various branches of knowledge (psychology, pedagogy, sociology, criminology, etc.), establish which conditions create objective opportunities for transition of the cause to the consequence.
