STATE OF GROUNDWATER RESERVES WITHIN THE BARYCZ RIVER CATCHMENT

Abstract
Groundwater resources within the Barycz catchment, covering 5543.3 km[sup]2[/sup], equal 88.3 m3/d/km[sup]2[/sup]. They are used, taking into account water permits issued in the quantity of 29.46 m[sup]3[/sup]/d/km[sup]2[/sup], hence actual exploitation in 2011 achieves 63.4% of this value. State of groundwater reserves was estimated at 58.79 m[sup]3[/sup]/d/km[sup]2[/sup] and 69.58 m[sup]3[/sup]/d/km[sup]2[/sup] taking into account exploitation on the level of water permits issued and the actual consumption and disposable resources as well.
