Straight Joints Experiment of Wooden Structure Reinforced with Carbon Fiber Reinforced Plastic

Abstract
The pseudo-static method was used to make four straight tenon wood beams.The seismic performance of beams with or without reinforcement of carbon fiber cloth was analyzed under different vertical loads.The hysteresis curve, skeleton curve and stiffness degradation curve of horizontal displacement and horizontal force were obtained.The results show that the reinforcement of carbon fiber cloth can significantly reduce the displacement of the joint by up to 20.1%.The time to reach the yield displacement is delayed.The horizontal ultimate load that the joint bears can increase by 71.9%.The safety of the structure is greatly improved.The greater the vertical load, the more obvious the effect of carbon fiber reinforcement.
