Strategies of reproduction of the implicit contents of J. R.R. Tolkien’s literary works in Ukrainian translations

Abstract
The strategies used when reproducing the implicit contents of J. R. R. Tolkien’s novels «The Lord of the Rings» and «The Hobbit» and the corresponding scales of linguocultural adaptation in the Ukrainian translations are analyzed. A comparison is made with the Russian and Polish translations.
