Screening for risk factors like hypertension, diabetes and open angle glaucoma was done. All patients were tested for BCVA, Slit lamp, IOP, Gonioscopy and Fundus. Laboratory examination for haematological parameters was done in all cases and frequent followup done. RESULTS Retinal vein occlusions are a disease of the elderly population.
