Abstract
In this study 100 cases of ascites, evaluated for the etiological causes. And observed as cirrhosis with portal hypertension 82%, heart failure 8%, chronic kidney disease 3%, nephritic syndrome 2%, peritoneal calcinomatosis 2%, chronic pancreatitis 1% portal vein thrombosis 1%, Budd-chiari syndrome 1%. AIM OF THE STUDY: To study the various etiologies and their incidence of Ascites.
