Synthesis and characterization of ZnO@zinc terephthalate metal organic framework
Journal Title: Bulletin of Pure and Applied Sciences Sec. C – Chemistry - Year 2018, Vol 37, Issue 1
Abstract
Zinc oxide nano particles prepared using starch as capping agent were prepared and then incorporated into a zinc terephthalate framework. ZnO@Zinc terephthalate framework composites were then characterised by FTIR, XRD, SEM and thermogravimetric analysis. N2 adsorption isotherms were obtained to calculate BET surface area and pore parameter of the framework.

Kinetics and Mechanism of the Silver (I)-Catalyzed Autoxidation of SO2 in Aqueous Solution and Its Inhibition by Benzoate and Amide Ions
In this paper we report that sodium benzoate and benzamide both are organics works as good inhibitor for SO2 oxidation in pH range 4.02-5.25 in the presence of silver (I). Based on the observed results following rate law...
Synthesis and Characterization of Polymer Metal Complexes of Cu (II) and Zn (II) with NNMBA Cross-Linked Polyacrylamide Supported L-Aspartic Acid and L-Lysine
Crosslinked polymers with specific properties are widely used as catalyst supports as they are inert, non toxic and non volatile and offer advantageous features of heterogeneous catalysis such as thermal stability, selec...
Volumetric Studies of Copper Soap Derived from Treated and Untreated Oils in Benzene at 298.15 K
The density, molar volume, and apparent molar volume of Cu (II) soap derived from mustard and groundnut oils treated and untreated in non-aqueous solvent benzene has been determined at constant temperature 298.15 K. The...
Development of hetero metal organic frameworks of transition metal ions
Heterometallic metal organic frameworks (MOFs) of transition metal ions have been hydrothermally synthesized with 1,4–benzenedicarboxylic acid as the organic linker in ethanol medium. The synthesized MOFs are found to be...
A comparative study on the antioxidant properties of curcuminoids and its rubrocurcumin analogues
The yellow colored pigment, curcumin present in turmeric is responsible for its various biological activities like antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and anticarcinogenic activity. Different functional group present in curcu...
