Abstract

This article provides that the approach based on the existing system of maintenance and repair leads to significant cost overruns of resources and performance of maintenance and repair within the calendar dates in most cases does not provide a given reliability. The urgency to develop new methods of technical operation of ship systems based on the application of advanced systems of technical diagnostics of ship systems
