Abstract
І.І. Chernega. Theoretical principles of entrepreneurship as a modern form of management The article shows theoretical principles of entrepreneurship as a modern form of management. The role of entrepreneurship in the economy of different levels of the system of management and feature of entrepreneurship as one of the areas of economic activity are defined. Classification of enterprises by certain criteria is studied. It is found that the main objective of entrepreneurial activity can be considered production of products to meet the needs of the market and obtain the maximum possible profit. Thus, producing goods and services necessary for society, enterprises form material and social conditions of life and development of society which is the main social and economic aspect of the goal of any company. Two goals of the entrepreneurial activity are also defined: the purpose of achieving economic and social results, that is, the focus on meeting social needs for goods, kinds of work and services and the purpose of making profit. Importance of knowledge about the division of enterprises into classification groups according to certain features in the real economic environment that should be useful when choosing, for example, the taxation system, the choice of a business development strategy and others is proved. The full classification of enterprises can be ensured, using the following features: purpose and nature of the activity, form of property ownership, capital ownership, legal status and form of management, sectoral and functional type of the activity, technological and territorial integrity and size by number of employees.
