TERRITORIAL BRANDING AS LOCAL DEVELOPMENT TOOL

Abstract
The article is devoted to the analysis of territorial branding and its influence on local development. It is revealed that territorial branding is an effective tool for the development and formation of a competitive region, and an effective brand of the region through the activation of internal resources promotes attraction of investors and investments, tourists, and in the long run can create opportunities for providing a decent standard of living for community members. In addition, when a community of cities, villages and districts is working on branding, then in this case, territorial branding is also a tool for community unification.
