The analysis of contributing factor and the solution measure to cracks
in components of ports
Journal Title: Science Paper Online - Year 2006, Vol 1, Issue 5
Abstract
It is an important and urgent problem that how to effectively control the cracks of structural members of ports now. The cracks change the appearance and destroy the function of components. Engineering will suffer heavy losses without considering the mechanism of cracks. Besides the experience at present, we should take deep analysis of the contributing factor and specific property to effectively and economically reduce the appearance of the cracks.

Analysis of critical global energy error limit of gravity dam stresses using adaptive finite element method
In this paper, the research on energy error limit of gravity dam stress analysis using adaptive finite element method (FEM) has been carried out. Through the stress analyses in many types of gravity dams with different d...
Reservoir-processing analysis and the development of pressure in Upper Paleozoic of Ordos Basin
This article takes a dynamic analysis, comprehensive research and theory of basin forming, hydrocarbon generation and hydrocarbon accumulation. Through the detailed analysis about sedimentary burial history, hydrocarbon-...
Thermo-optical switch based on optical fiber coupler coated with sol-gel film
A simple thermo-optical switch was demonstrated. The fiber coupler was coated with organic-inorganic sol-gel material which had high thermo-optical coefficient. With the variation of temperature, the refractive index pro...
Functionalization of vinyl cubic Ia3d mesoporous silica for immobilization of penicillin G acylase
Vinyl cubic Ia3d mesoporous silica (V-CIMS), prepared by co-condensation method, was epoxidized by m-Chloroperbenzoic acid to epoxy group-functionalized mesoporous silica (E-CIMS). The above mesoporous silicas were chara...
