The color in the linguistic world image reflektion (based on the German language)

Abstract
The article is written within the framework of the linguistic, culturological and semiotic researches. The meaning of the term «linguistic world image» has been analyzed. The main colors that reÀ ect the linguistic world image in the German language are de¿ ned, with the help of examples we demonstrate that the fundamental colors of the German language are characterized by the binarity of notions introduced in the linguistic world image of the German nation by the phraseological units both with the positive and negative connotation.
