The creation of the concept agro-industrial cluster in the Zaporozhye region

Abstract
Purpose. The purpose of the article is to create a concept for the agricultural and industrial cluster and it is to improve the economic potential of the Zaporizhzhia region. Design/methodology/approach. In order to achieve the goal popular methods of research were used. Such statistical, computational, synthesizing, generalizing and descriptive research method were applied. Findings. At the end of the study, it was approved that the concept of an agricultural and industrial cluster in the region would contribute to a greater effectiveness of the cluster initiative formation and it would reduce financial and time costs. There are several cluster associations in the Zaporizhzhia. They are a cluster for the production of honey, dairy products, and the association of well-known food brands. But their value is not great enough for the agricultural and industrial complex of the region. Therefore, in order to improve the complex and the economy of the region as a whole, it is proposed to create a cluster for the production of oil, because sunflower itself occupies leading positions among the collected raw materials of the Zaporizhzhia region. This cluster is proposed to be created on the basis of all functioning enterprises. Researchlimitations/implications. As it was showed by practice in other regions of Ukraine the creation of agricultural and industrial cluster associations increases the agricultural indicators in several times and it increases because of improvement of the economic situation of the regions. Therefore, the scientific significance of the work is to study the process of creating the concept of an agricultural and industrial cluster, taking into account the peculiarities of the development of economic activity in Ukraine. Originality/value. In practice this method will increase the indicators of the agricultural and industrial complex of the region. The region's economy will grow not only due to metallurgy. The use of this method in other regions of Ukraine with a positive result of the increase of indicators is a good example to this.
