THE DEVELOPMENT OF A CROSS-SHAPED DEEP SEAL OF CONCRETE MIX

Abstract

Purpose. Development of high-performance cross-shaped deep vibration seal of concrete mixtures of different consistency is the purpose of this work. Methodology. The study uses the construction of structures and methods of compaction of concrete deep vibrators, identifies their positive and negative properties. A fundamentally new design of a cross-shaped deep seal, which consists of a sealing tip immersed in a concrete mixture, is proposed. The tip is made in the form of cross-connected vertical plates. On top of the sealing of the cross-shaped tip with the help of the support ring a vibration exciter circular oscillation is mounted. The design of a small-sized circular vibration exciter with a vertically arranged monolithic unbalance shaft is described. The work of the proposed cruciform deep seal is described. The fundamentals of the principle method of the concrete mixture compaction by variable amplitude-frequency deformation of the concrete mixture, which occurs as a result of spatial oscillations of the proposed cross-shaped deep seal, are shown. Results. The calculation scheme is presented and the equations of motion of the vertical plates of the cruciform tip in the form of rectilinear oscillations of the center of gravity of the cruciform deep seal in the horizontal direction in mutually perpendicular planes, as well as torsional vibrations with respect to the coordinate axes passing through the center of gravity of the seal. Originality. The regularity of the motion of the working surfaces of the cruciform seal-ing tip interacting with the concrete mixture in the direction of the coordinate axes passing through the center of gravity and causing normal stresses in the concrete medium is established. Practical. The obtained results allow: to justify the rational parameters of the cruciform deep seal, performing spatial vibrations and causing variable amplitude-frequency deformation in the concrete mixture, contributing to effective compaction; to find rational modes of vibration impact on concrete mixtures of different consistency. The proposed cross-shaped deep seal can be widely used in construction practice. References 10, tables 0, figures 3.
