THE ESSENCE OF THE FORMATION OF PATRIOTISM OF FUTURE BORDER GUARD OFFICERS ON THE BASIS OF MILITARY TRADITIONS

Abstract
The article is devoted to characterizing the essence of the process of formation of patriotism of future officers-border guards on the basis of military traditions. Different approaches of scientists and practitioners to understanding the formation of patriotism are analyzed. According to the results of the analysis of scientific works on the problem and the conducted research it was established that the formation of patriotism of future officers-border guards on the basis of military traditions is a purposeful process, an important component of the formation of their personality as a patriot citizen with a high patriotic consciousness, a sense of loyalty and love for the Motherland, able To perform operative-service and service-combat tasks for the protection of national interests, integrity, independence of Ukraine. It is established that the methods of formation of patriotism of future officers-border guards on the basis of military traditions are as follows: information, research, discussion, analytical, video methods, round tables, etc. The author draws attention to the fact that the history of the border agency is rich in military traditions, which embodied the best of all: unlimited devotion to the Motherland, high vigilance, professional craftsmanship, heroism and courage. During the training in the NADPSU, the military and border traditions become an element of the outlook of future officers-border guards.
