THE INFLUENCE OF THE CONDITION OF THE SURFACE LAYER ON TRIBOLOGICAL PROPERTIES SPHEROIDAL FERRITIC CAST IRON AFTER PRESSING
Journal Title: Tribologia - Year 2010, Vol 229, Issue 1
Abstract
In this paper the results of the investigations of tribological properties of cast iron after grinding and pressing have been presented. The experiment was conducted by the help of the machine Amsler 135. As a lubricant the machine oil M10 was used. Studies have shown that by treating pressing the property of surface layer improves. This has implicated for improving the tribological properties: the reducing wear, the lowering of the coefficient of the friction, the temperature area of friction and the shortening the running.
