The informational and cognitive approach to the study of theory and practice of the future economists’ professional training in the system of continuous education

Abstract

The methodological basis for the study of the theory and practice of the future economists’ professional training in the system of continuous education, which is formed taking into account the dialectical theory of knowledge and ideas of the synergy of methodological approaches, is substantiated. The following scientific approaches to the study of the identified problem are outlined and characterized: paradigm-oriented, systemic, competence-based, axiological, acmeological, historical-chronological, activity-centred, structural-functional, synergetic, informational-cognitive. The information-cognitive approach is studied as a scientific approach, based on the ability of scientific and pedagogical-scientific workers of higher education institutions and scientific institutions to effectively use the cognitive potential of personal information and cognitive activity that are considered as a set of processes of critical analysis, evaluation, selection and use of information fields to shape the content of the educational process in conjunction with cognitive mechanisms of the individual ‒ the integration of his / her qualitative characteristics that reveal the essence of the core in order to elaborate the content of the educational process for the training of the future economists). It has been established that ensuring the professional and personal development of the future economists highlights the need to understand the concept “the professional training of the future economists in the system of continuous education” as a real permanent state of higher education. It has been proved that the information-cognitive approach makes it possible to study the theory and practice of the future economists’ training in the system of continuous education on the basis of complexity, multicomponent basis, multivectorality of interdependence and interdependence of its components.
