The key proposals for changes in the higher education management system in Poland in the opinion of the surveyed professors – research findings

Abstract
The aim of the study is to present the opinions of professors on the proposals of pro-quality changes to be introduced into the Polish higher education management system, obtained from the questionnaire study carried out by the author in Poland in the 2010-2011 academic year. The study compiles the opinions of professors expressed in the four important thematic groups as well as separate opinions; that is the opinions presented by one or two of the respondents. The summary provides synthetic conclusions drawn from the research findings presented in this study as well as a general conclusion pointing to the fact that only radical, pro-quality restructuring of higher education management system may change the present state and create favourable conditions for the development and promotion of the young academic staff in the European, global dimension.
