THE LEGAL NATURE OF A CONTRACT ON A DOMAIN NAME REGISTRATION

Abstract
The legal nature of a contract on a domain name registration is explored in the article. A definition of a contract on a domain name registration has been described, its civil-law characteristic has been given. It is proved that a contract on a domain name registration is a contract for services, which is aimed at an intellectual property right’s object creation. The author argues the necessity of legislation improvement.
