The Semantic Relationship between “Worry” and “Unhappiness” in Turkish with Reference to the Semantic, and Lexical Meanings of Idioms in Turkey Dialect and Kyrgyz Dialect

Abstract
In a Turkish dictionary; the verb “üzülmek” (it; henceforth, will be used as worry) is meant that being subject to action of sadden, or feel sadness. “üzülmek” which is considered with unhappiness in general, is related to many terms especially concept of worry. In this work, we dealt “worry” verb in our language (by considering/comparing its situation in Turkey Turkish and Kirghiz Turkish). We utilized from the idioms in our language while examining the concept space that is formed round the “worry” verb. . By this research, we have detected 80 idioms related with this subject in Turkey Turkish, 21 idioms in Kirghiz Turkish and we aimed to reveal that the mind that forms expressions, associates “worry” verb with which concepts, by transforming stereotyped expressions in idioms, to a sentence form. So, we tried to understand that the people speaking Turkish emphasize which codes of our culture, whether the people be effected by nature itself or human aspects while they are expressing the “worry” concept. It is known that “worry” is a way of naming an abstract feeling. Consequently, we aimed to determine whether Turkish-talking-people create a link between abstract and concrete concepts while they are stating this feeling, and if they do which specific concepts they are. We; moreover, tried to understand the cognitive process behind the creation of the words which are related to the concept of “worry” are how much relevant with the belief system (pantheon). In this examination, it is aimed to identify that vocabulary relevant to concept of unhappiness in Turkey-Turkish and Kyrgyz-Turkish idioms. It is aimed to be revealed with this comparison that in both dialects, existing vocabulary which is related to unhappiness concept whether they have common background in the way of linking the concept with the words, and if they so what the statistics is of it.
