THE STATEMENT IN THE SEMANTIC STRUCTURE OF VERBS AND NOUNS.

Abstract

The question about studying lexical explication statement in modern Ukrainian language deserves attention. Lexemes that contain semantic component of affirmation, have partly already attracted the attention of Ukrainian and foreign linguists. However, there isn’t comprehensive structure of lexical units expressing statement in modern Ukrainian linguistics, that determines the relevance of scientific exploration. Therefore, the object of our study is the noun’s and verb’s lexemes with affirmative semantics. In this paper we aim to highlight words that represent the meaning of statement. To set purposes implies fulfillment of the following tasks: to align with vocabulary lexemes that implement affirmartion; to isolate and classify the verbs and nouns, semantic structure of which realizes an affirmative meaning. The sources for analysis include new explanatory dictionary of the Ukrainian language and works of fiction. Singled out a group of verbs with affirmative meaning, that indicate on the ability of the subject to the proposed action and signified to distinguish nouns that denote an internal state of the speaker, the presence of the human being and nature, oriented views through statements. Noticed that nouns and verbs are the primary means of explication statement in modern Ukrainian language. Statement that specializes in signified action represented in the semantic structure of six groups of verb’s lexemes and affirmative content is reflected in the seven groups of noun’s lexemes by which characterize various features beings, the presence of something in space, the identity of someone correct opinions of people etc. The prosrect of further investigation is the analysis of this category in journalistic style.
