The structural distribution of the converted words in modern English language

Abstract
The present article deals with the problem of the working out methods of the 18 264 conversion formations structural classification in modern English language. The studying of the converted words of four English explanatory dictionaries is based on such models as N – V (noun – verb), V – N (verb – noun), N – Adj ( noun – adjective) and Adj – N (adjective – noun) using the lexics complete selection method. The semantic differences of initial and derivative formations are described in the listed models in the course of the cognitive method approach.
