The style of the novel “Primary colors” by Joe Klein

Abstract
The article deals with the style of the novel “Primary colors” by Joe Klein. Stylistically dominating feature of the novel are graphical stylistic devices, graphon in particular. The novel is characteristic of the vocabulary that is combined in certain thematic groups, usual and occasional usage of phraseological units, colloquial and low-colloquial lexis, vulgarisms, americanisms. Stylistic devices help reveal the main idea of the literary work and depict secondary collisions of the plot.
