Journal Title: Мова - Year 2014, Vol 0, Issue 21

Abstract

While forming the professional linguistic personality of a student it is very important to take into account some deciding factors of psycholinguistics. The theory of N. Chomsky about the deep and external structures and V. L. Skalkin’s theory about the foreign speech communicative competence are the bases of the teaching method of the foreign languages at the university. The main idea is the development of the monological speech of the students with the help of multilevel syntax constructions on the basis of professional texts from the original sources. A communicative orientation determines the role of the speaker as a participant of communication and designates the certain aim of his expression: to inform listeners, to estimate anything, to report, to affect listeners by proof. The basis of the professionally-oriented monologue is the text, because it is the basis of thesaurus development of the student. To produce a scientific professionally-oriented monologue one has to use multicomponent syntax structures consisted of complex sentences with more than one kernal centre which can be subjected to lexico-grammatical transformations.
