THE USAGE OF TESTING OF HIGHER MATHEMATICS IS THE LEADING OF DIAGNOSTICS OF STUDENTS KNOWLEDGE

Abstract

Introduction. The article describes the possibilities of the usage testing for verification of knowledge in higher mathematics for students. It is given the characteristic to the method of qualities measuring of students’ academic achievement. It is reflected in the article the main advantages and common disadvantages in the test application in the educational process of the modern university. It is interpreted the basic principles of testing conduction. The particular features of testing application in future professional preparation are defined. It is determined the prospects of further study. Methods. Monographic, historical, abstract-logical, method of grouping. Results. In the article the types of the computer testing and method of verification of students’ knowledge are examined by computer tests. The necessity of application of the computer testing for teaching is an important didactic tool at the study of any subject. The article describes the problems appeared during students’ independent work and possible ways of their solution. Discussion. Prospects for further researches are seen in conducting of quantitative investigations of different test tasks on students’ progress.
