THEORETICAL AND METHODOLOGICAL PRINCIPLES OF FORMATION OF QUALITY ASSURANCE STANDARDS IN THE SYSTEM OF HIGHER EDUCATION

Abstract
The article discusses the main points of the concept of overall quality management (Total Quality Management, TQM), the standards of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and their interrelation with the Standards and Guidelines for Quality Assurance in the European Higher Education Area, ESG). It is recognized that the quality assurance management system is acceptable to the system of quality assurance in higher education and corresponds to the basic requirements for the product of the activity of institutions of higher education: knowledge, skills and training of specialists.
