THEORETICAL ASPECTS OF IMPLEMENTING PASSENGER TRANSPORT SYSTEMS ACCESSIBILITY

Abstract
The existing approaches to defining transport accessibility in theory of transport systems reflect the theoretical inconsistency and all the while limitation of individual definitions. It is clarified that transport accessibility includes many dimensions that enable its definition from the point of view of various sciences and fields of study. The author proposed one’s own definition of transport accessibility with account of different dimensions and restraining factors. The applications of the indicator of transport accessibility in view of transport systems theory are suggested.
