Journal Title: MANAGERIAL CHALLENGES OF THE CONTEMPORARY SOCIETY - Year 2018, Vol 11, Issue 2

Abstract

Theories and models provide frameworks to guide research design and interpret research results. The main objective of this paper is to review main research problems, theories and models used, research approaches, and findings in the adoption and use of ICT in tourism. Through this review, we have identified major limitations of theories and models and research results. By their understanding, we will achieve our own model that we will test on a sample of tourism companies in Transylvania in a future research.
