Therapy for Glucose Toxicity in Patients with Diabetes Mellitus Type 2

Abstract
The article discusses short-term therapy with insulin glargine in patients with diabetes mellitus type 2 to reduce glucose toxicity syndrome and insulin resistance. A positive effect of short-term insulin therapy on insulin resistance has been shown.
