Abstract
An article is devoted to the new approaches in understanding disaster. The article studies the concept of disaster in discourse of UN documents, particularly in the Report on indicators and terminology relating to disaster risk reduction, endorsed by the UNGA on 02.02.17. The article analyses discrepancies between English and Russian wording of the report said.
