Thermoelectric Properties of Solid Solutions PbTe-Bi2Te3 (Sb2Te3) on the Basis of Lead Telluride with Low-Dopant
Journal Title: Фізика і хімія твердого тіла - Year 2014, Vol 15, Issue 3
Abstract
The results of a comprehensive study of phase structure and thermoelectric properties of solid solutions PbTe-Bi2Te3, PbTe-Sb2Te3 based Lead Telluride with (0,1-0,5) ml.% Bi2Te3 (Sb2Te3). Established their dependence on the chemical composition and temperature for a given synthesis conditions and their alloys following annealing and preparing models and size fractions of components.

Classical Size Effects in Films of n-PbTe
Based on kinetic Boltzmann equation the boundary problem of calculating the conductivity and Seebeck coefficient for a film with a rectangular cross section is solved. Mirror- diffuse mechanism of reflection of the charg...
Review of Theory of Mesocopic Systems
In the framework of this work an overview of the theory of mesoscopic systems is made. The main effects of mesoscopic systems are noted, it is determined that the macroscopic characteristics of the system are significant...
Investigation of Band Structure of ZrNiSn1-xGax Semiconductor Solid Solution
The mechanism of simultaneous generation of donor-acceptor pairs in ZrNiSn1-xGax semiconductor solid solution is established. The modeled distribution of atoms in the crystal lattice of ZrNiSn1-xGax showed that the speed...
Application of the Mean-Field Kinetic Method for Description of the Reaction Diffusion
In this paper we present the results of modeling of the reaction diffusion in fcc structure between pure component A and orderedphase A1B1using the kinetic mean-field method. Theformationtime of the ordered phase A3B1 (i...
Variation of Surface Characteristics and Sorption Properties of Zirconium Silicate under Irradiation by Bremsstrahlung Gamma Rays
The effect of bremsstrahlung gamma rays on the surface parameters of microporous amorphous zirconium silicate and on its ability for sorption is studied. The samples were irradiated using a betatron (electron accelerator...
