To Study on Hand Hygiene Awareness Among Nursing Students In Rajasthan.

Abstract
Background- Healthcare-associated infections (HCAIs) are of major concern when it comes to patient safety. Methods- The present study was cross-sectional study. A total of 100 nursing students were enrolled for the study. Knowledge was assessed using WHO hand hygiene questionnaire for health care workers. Results- A total of 9 showed good knowledge of hand hygiene practices. Out of 100, 67 nursing students had moderate knowledge and 24 nursing students had poor knowledge. Conclusion -The nursing students should be educated on the importance of hand hygiene and should also encouraged to use hand sanitizers whenever delivering health care in any format.
