Abstract
Purpose. Identifying the role of creativity and the creative economy potential as factors in tourism enterprise competitiveness. It covers the following issues: the essence of creativity, the concept of creative economy and its properties, rthe elationship between creative economy and tourism, the foundations of creativity in tourism and conclusions showing the relation between creativity and competitiveness.
