TRIBOLOGICAL PROPERTIES OF A FRICTION PAIR WITH KINDS OF BRONZES
Journal Title: Tribologia - Year 2010, Vol 234, Issue 6
Abstract
This paper presents the results of tribological properties with of a friction pair steel X210Cr12 (60 HRC) and bronze CuSn12Ni2 (in the form of casting and sintered) and engine trade lubricated oil Selektol Special SD 20W/40 and modified PE M. To study the tribological properties tester T-05 was used. The desirability of modifying the oil trade, which strongly improved the tribological properties of the friction pair was showed.

Capacity enhancement in HDD conical micro-bearings
This paper presents a method of pressure and carrying capacity calculation in slide conical micro-bearing occurring in HDD computer discs. The authors compare they’re own results of pressure and capacity distributions wi...
THE METHOD OF SIMILARITY IN THE STUDY OF WEAR RESISTANCE OF MACHINE ELEMENTS
The paper describes methods to estimate wear rate of the surfaces machined with an edge tool, using dimensionless numbers that characterize the cutting process and the quality of the machined surface, which allowed using...
THE USE OF BIODEGRADABLE CUTTING FLUID FOR THIN AND HARD a-C:H AND TiAlN COATINGS
This paper presents results of tribological tests performed under lubricated friction conditions using a T-01M analyser. The lubricant was biodegradable cutting fluid containing a special-purpose additive – zinc aspartat...
THE EFFECT OF ELECTRON BEAM IRRADIATION ON TRIBOLOGICAL CHARACTERISTICS OF PTFE, POM, AND PA IN COMBINATION WITH AN ANODIC-OXIDE COATINGS
In this paper, the authors present the results of tribological and stereometric tests as well as the results of surface morphology of polytetrafluoroethylene, polyoxymethylene, and polyamide subjected to modification wit...
THE INFLUENCE OF PRELOAD IN RELATION WITH LOAD ON A SYSTEM OF ANGULAR BALL BEARINGS
A proper preload has a decisive influence on the correct work of a system of bearings. According to specialist literature [L. 1, 2, 8, 12], the main benefits of preload application are the following: increasing the stiff...
